Your questions, answered
Before you get started.
Can I try ExpenSpace without paying?
Yes. You can install ExpenSpace and keep track of your own spending for free. No purchase is needed to get started.
Does everyone I invite need to pay?
No. Only the person who creates the shared Space needs Premium access. The people they invite can join and take part for free.
How many people can I invite?
With Premium, you can invite up to nine other people to each shared Space. Promotional access includes up to four other people per Space. These numbers do not include you.
Can I save a copy of my expenses?
Yes. Save a copy of your expenses to open in Excel or Google Sheets. You can review the figures or share them with someone outside the app.
What is your refund policy?
Purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play’s refund process. You can submit a request through Google Play; eligibility depends on its refund policy.

We do not offer Premium gift subscriptions at the moment.
Is there a student discount?
Yes. Send us a request through the contact form. We review student requests and provide a special promo code for approved applications.
Ask about a student discountDo I need to connect my bank account?
No. You enter the expenses you want to track. You do not need to link a bank account or enter your credit or debit card number to record expenses.
Can I choose who can change our expenses?
Yes. Choose who can add and change expenses and who can only view them. That way, everyone can follow the spending without everyone editing the record.
